Natalie hanging out with Oma and rearranging her playroom:
Natalie rearranging the chairs in the kitchen -- I think she's into Feng Shui.
Natalie loves to give her gorilla that she got from our friend, Matt, lots of love:
Signing "please" to get into the pantry for some crackers (her favorite snack right now)
My parents were here last week (photos to be added in my next post). We got some great video of Natalie doing some of her favorite things:
Helping mommy make the bed by playing with the pillows:
Hanging out on the bottom step. Sometimes she and I sit there while she eats her crackers.
Playing with her flannel stories that Auntie Kendra made her. Nana and Grandpa are providing the lyrics! She loves to pull out the envelopes that these stories are in and try to stick them on the flannel board, or just look at them and put them back in the folders (not always the right folders :).We went to the Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh while my parents were here. Natalie loved the "fishing hole".
Natalie has started doing a lot of great things lately. She's saying Papa and Mama more clearly now. She's started saying "uh oh" which is so adorable to hear. On Sunday, she started "feeding" her teddy bear her sippy cup. And today, she worked on spooning her oatmeal out of the bowl and feeding herself. Now when asked for a kiss, she leans in towards the person for them to kiss her on her forehead. Yesterday was the first day she dropped to only taking one nap a day -- and it went really well. She didn't get fussy or anything before her nap or bedtime even though she only slept one hour (we're expecting her to take a few days to work up to sleeping longer during her one nap time).
