4 month appointment

Natalie had her 4 month doctor's appointment this past Thursday. Dr. Hewett said she's doing great -- right on track with where she should be. She now weighs 14 lbs 8.5 oz. (70th percentile) and is 24.25" long (50th percentile). He said she's good to start solids anytime we're ready between now and 6 months. We're probably going to wait till she's between 5-6 months old because of the chance of food allergies. Given that Natalie is breast fed, it isn't necessary to start solids any earlier than 6 months unless she's showing signs of wanting to eat solids. Right now, she's not showing any interest.

Natalie's hair is starting to grow in blond! It's so cute. I cut a little piece of her remaining dark brown hair to keep so we can see the changes later.

We got Natalie a jumperoo this weekend. My neighbor friend, Stephanie, said her little boy, Dylan, really enjoyed it. She hasn't gotten the idea of jumping yet but she enjoys playing with the toys.
