18 mo old and Thanksgiving fun

It's hard to believe Natalie is already a year and a half old! Time has flown by so quickly. She's growing up so fast!

Nana and Grandpa came in town for Thanksgiving weekend on their way to Florida for my nephew's 5th birthday celebration (December 2) at Disney World. Natalie had a great time spending time with them and can even say Nana really well and point out Grandpa. She's working on trying to say his name.

We had a great meal cooked by Emile on Thanksgiving. It was nice eating at a time when Natalie was awake and could join us.

On Saturday, we went to pick out our Christmas tree. I wanted to get it a little early this years since I have my c-section on Thursday. This way I'd have time to decorate it with Natalie before it became difficult to move from the c-section recovery. The weather was beautiful. You couldn't tell it was the end of November (from WI standards).

Natalie also went to Little Gym with Nana and Grandpa so they could see her in action. She loves her gymnastics class.

And of course, we spent a lot of time just relaxing and playing around the house. Grandpa even helped set up Natalie's new table and chairs which still needs to be painted. Nana and Grandpa brought Natalie's Christmas gifts from them, Auntie Kendra and Uncle Paul since we won't see them this year on Christmas. She loved all her new doll toys and other toys that she got from everyone.

First Haircut

Natalie had her first hair cut today. Her hair was pretty uneven in the back and the ends were looking a bit wrecked so I thought it would be good to get a nice trim before the holidays. She did a great job. She didn't cry but she did keep asking for me to pick her up. They cut off more than I wanted so unfortunately it will probably be awhile before the length grows back again but the curl/wave in the back is still there. She looks very cute.

Natalie doesn't let us take many photos or videos of her very frequently lately. Every time she sees the camera she wants to look at the photos or video so she stops what she's doing and sits down for us to show her. Here are a few photos we've gotten of her the last few weeks.

I was able to get a video of Natalie playing with Kinsey outside this week. If I take the video from afar, she doesn't notice as much.
